Zachary Skinner is a contemporary interdisciplinary artist who works with themes of geo-engineering, humanitarian activism, and explores the nexus of inner strength and creativity. Skinner studied art at Onondaga Community College (AS degree), SUNY New Paltz College (BFA degree), and SAIC (MFA degree). He has received national and international recognition for his art including an Award of Excellence, Dave Bown Projects (USA), a review in NictoGlobe Magazine (Netherlands), and was awarded residencies at Jentel Artist Residency Program (WY, USA), I-Park Artist Residency (CT, USA), and Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts (NY, USA). His work was recently featured in a solo exhibit “Be the Change” at the Ann Felton Multicultural Center @ OCC, (Syracuse, NY, October 2015). Zachary currently lives and works in Beacon, NY, USA.
